The Low-Down: Warcraft 2, Ash featurette, Terminator 2-3D, Maze Runner

Warcraft 2 to skip US cinemas?

The Wrap is reporting that due to the success of Warcraft overseas, the follow-up film could become more of a Chinese production. The Duncan Jones $160 million-helmed film made a grand total of $47 million at the domestic box office, but fared better overseas with China alone pulling in $220.8 million

Sky Moore spoke about U.S.-China co-production deals: “Who says it needs to have American actors? I would suspect that the sequel would be more China-centric. It’s very possible it wouldn’t be released here [in the United States].”

No word on when or whether the “Warcraft” sequel might go into production.
