Consulting producer Nicholas Meyer for “Star Trek: Discovery” has recently revealed that Michelle Yeoh is set to headline the Access series according to Coming Soon.
The new is unconfirmed at this time, but they speculate that Yeoh’s role is will likely be the series’ lead of a female Lieutenant Commander. “Discovery” is set to take place ten years or so before the events seen in the original 1960s TV series timeline.
The series is set to premiere in May 2017 premiere on the CBS Television Network. All episodes will be available in the U.S. exclusively on CBS All Access and on Netflix globally within 24 hours of its U.S. screening.
