BioWare has announced on the Mass Effect blog that the highly anticipated “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be released on March 21st in North America and on March 23rd in Europe.
The game takes place 600 years after the events of the original “Mass Effect” games, in the Andromeda Galaxy. The player chooses from either a male or a female sibling of Alec Ryder – an N7 special forces soldier who was designated as a Pathfinder, an operative tasked with discovering new planets for the Human species to colonize. They will explore an open world galaxy aboard the starship Tempest.
“Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
