“NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Twin Peaks” actor Miguel Ferrer dies at age 61

Acclaimed actor “Twin Peaks” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” actor Miguel Ferrer has passed away at home of cancer at the age of 61 surrounded by family and friends.

Ferrer was the son of actor Jose Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney, and a cousin to George Clooney.

Some of his work in film includes “RoboCop,” “Hot Shots 2,” “Another Stakeout,” “The Manchurian Candidate,” “The Guardian”, “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock” and many more.

On TV he had a memorable roles on “Twin Peaks”, “The Stand” mini-series, “Crossing Jordan,” “Bionic Woman” and “Desperate Housewives” as well as voice work on “Young Justice,” “Robot Chicken,” “Superman,” “Jackie Chan Adventures,” “The Spectacular Spider-Man ,” and “Mulan”.

Ferrer had just completed the voice work for Deathstroke in the the upcoming DCAU original movie “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract”. His final onscreen role will be in the upcoming “Twin Peaks” revival.
