DC announces “Injustice 2” comic

When the original “Injustice: Gods Among Us” was released 2013, fans were none-too-excited that there would be an accompanying comic book title acting as a prequel to the game. Luckily for us, the comic was amazing and it spawned into a five year series.  Now with “Injustice 2” coming out in May, DC has announced the “Injustice 2” comic.

The new digital-first series will detail the events that take place leading up to the second game’s story.

Batman, the former leader of the resistance, tries to settle into a world where Superman’s tyrannical reign is at an end and tries to pick up the pieces that remain.

Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo return to pen and provide art respectively, having worked on the original “Injustice” prequel series.

“Injustice 2” begins on April 11, with new chapters coming weekly digitally. A twice-monthly physical comic will release starting in May.
