Sir Roger Moore, the actor known for making James Bond fun, died of cancer at the age of 89.
Moore’s career spanned over seven decades in film and television with notable roles in “Ivanhoe,” “Maverick,” “The Saint,” and “Curse of the Pink Panther.” He went on to portray superspy James Bond in six films starting with “Live and Let Die” and ending with “Octopussy.”
Moore is survived by his wife Kristina and his three children.
